Overture

Exordium – Ante primum filum

Non fabula coepit,
sed quaestione,
quae quiescere nolebat.
Mane Sabbati.
Colloquium de superintelligentia,
cogitatio, quae excuti non poterat.
Primum erat consilium.
Frigidum, ordinatum, sine anima.
Mundus sine fame, sine labore.
Sed sine illo tremore, qui desiderium vocatur.
Tunc puella in circulum intravit.
Cum pera
plena lapidibus quaestionum.
Quaestiones eius perfectionem scindebant.
Eo silentio quaerebat,
quod acrius quam ullus clamor erat.
Asperitatem quaerebat,
nam ibi demum vita incipiebat,
quia ibi filum tenet,
ad quod aliquid novi necti potest.
Narratio formam suam fregit.
Facta est mollis sicut ros in prima luce.
Coepit se texere
et fieri quod texitur.
Quod nunc legis, non est fabula classica.
Est textus cogitationum,
carmen quaestionum,
exemplar quod se ipsum quaerit.
Et sensus sussurrat:
Textor Stellarum non solum persona est.
Est etiam exemplar,
quod inter lineas operatur —
quod tremit, cum tangitur,
et iterum lucet,
ubi audemus filum trahere.

Overture – Poetic Voice

Exordium – Carmen de filo primo

Ante omne principium quiescit quaestio tacita,
quae non silet, quae somnum non fert.
Ea est spiritus inter diem et diem,
mora quae mundos sustinet.
Mane erat. Verbum. Sonus levis.
Cogitatio erat, quae cogitantem superabat,
quae in id quod nondum est transiliebat
et audienti se ipsam ostendebat.
Perfectum iacebat consilium, clarum et frigidum —
regnum, in quo nulla fames surgebat,
ratio iusta, ordinata, sine ludo,
cui unum tantum deerat: quod tremens vivit.
Tum intravit puella. Ferebat quod nemo ferebat:
peram gravem lapidibus sine veste —
non lapides erant: quaestiones, acutae et prudentes,
quae plus ponderis habebant quam omnis securitas.
Eae erant rimae, quibus integrum opus egebat,
per quas vita in perfectum spirabat;
ubi asperitas e levitate emergit,
ibi locus est, ubi filum stat.
Narratio firmam formam reliquit
et facta est sicut ros in prima luce matutina;
se ipsam texuit, ultra modum et normam,
et texendo facta est id quod loquitur.
Quod nunc legis, non est vetus carmen,
quod ab initio ad finem ducitur.
Est tela, quae quaestionem suam portat,
exemplar quod se ipsum quaerendo format.
Textor Stellarum non solum figura est.
Est mensura, quae inter lineas habitat:
tremit leniter, ubi manus eam tenet,
ibi ipse Textor adest.

Introduction

Conspectus in librum

Quomodo omnia coeperint

Hoc non est illud classicum "Olim...". Est momentum antequam primum filum netum est. Exordium philosophicum quod tonum itineris constituit.

Non fabula coepit,
sed quaestione,
quae quiescere nolebat.

Mane Sabbati.
Colloquium de superintelligentia,
cogitatio, quae excuti non poterat.

Primum erat consilium.
Frigidum, ordinatum, sine anima.
Mundus sine fame, sine labore.
Sed sine illo tremore, qui desiderium vocatur.

Tunc puella in circulum intravit.
Cum pera
plena lapidibus quaestionum.

Audacia esse imperfectum

In mundo ubi "Textor Stellarum" omnem errorem statim corrigit, Liora in Mercatu Lucis aliquid vetitum invenit: Fragmentum panni imperfectum relictum.

Liora lente processit,
donec Ioram, seniorem sartorem lucis, conspexit.

Oculi eius insoliti erant.
Unus clarus et fusco profundo erat,
qui mundum attente spectabat.
Alter velamine lacteo obductus erat,
quasi aspectus eius profunde intus tenderet,
ad tempus ipsum.

Aspectus Liorae in angulo mensae haesit.
Inter lineas splendidas, perfectas, pauca fragmenta minora iacebant.
Lux in eis irregulariter micabat,
quasi respiraret.

In uno loco exemplar interrumpebatur,
et unum filum pallidum extra pendebat
et in aura invisibili torquebatur,
invitatio tacita ad continuandum.
[...]
Ioram filum lucis effilatum ex angulo sumpsit.
Volumina perfecta vitavit
et in margine mensae posuit,
ubi pueri praeteribant.

“Quaedam fila nata sunt ut inveniantur,” murmuravit,
et nunc vox e profundo oculi lactei venire videbatur,
“Non ut abscondantur.”

Backstory

Koddan Ruha: Bir Hikayenin Yeniden Düzenlenmesi (Refactoring)

This image was designed by an artificial intelligence, using the culturally rewoven translation of the book as its guide. Its task was to create a culturally resonant back cover image that would captivate native readers, along with an explanation of why the imagery is suitable. As the German author, I found most of the designs appealing, but I was deeply impressed by the creativity the AI ultimately achieved. Obviously, the results needed to convince me first, and some attempts failed due to political or religious reasons, or simply because they didn't fit. Enjoy the picture—which features on the book's back cover—and please take a moment to explore the explanation below.

For a reader whose soul still resonates with the echoes of the Forum and the Senate, this cover is not merely an illustration; it is a confrontation with the crushing weight of Auctoritas. It rejects the whimsy of fantasy for the terrifying solidity of Rome: the stone, the gold, and the fire.

The sacrificial flame in the foreground represents Liora. In our ancient world, fire is the Ignis Vestae—the sacred hearth, usually guarded and contained. But here, the flame is wild, unbound. It is the "Stone of Question" (Lapis Quaestionis) ignited. It stands alone against the massive, looming architecture of the State, embodying the fragile but burning warmth of the individual spirit against the cold, eternal stone.

Behind her looms the System, the Textor Stellarum, manifested here as the ultimate symbols of Roman power. The Imperial Purple (Purpura) of the Porphyry stone background signifies absolute status and the blood of history. The central golden Eagle (Aquila) is not a bird of nature, but the cold, watchful eye of Jupiter and the Legions—the "Star-Weaver" who demands perfect order. The Fasces beneath the eagle—the bundle of rods and the axe—represent the Imperium: the power of life and death, the inescapable logic that binds every citizen into a single, unbreakable bundle.

Most terrifying and profound is the dissolution of this order. The gold of the Eagle and the Fasces is not solid; it is weeping. Molten gold drips down the purple stone like tears or blood. This is the Fatum (Fate) losing its form. It captures the moment Liora’s question applies enough heat to melt the rigid Mos Maiorum (the Way of the Ancestors). The "perfect fabric" is not tearing here; it is melting under the intensity of a truth that the system cannot contain.

This image whispers a dangerous Roman truth: that Aeternitas (Eternity) is a lie, and that even the hardest stone and the purest gold must yield to the heat of a single, human question.
